Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions & Helpful Answers
Do you take insurance?
To give you the most personalized and private experience possible, I do not accept insurance.
Because I am a relationship coach, not a licensed therapist, my work is considered personal development rather than medical treatment.
This means I don't provide clinical diagnoses or "superbills." Rather, we get to focus entirely on your goals and growth without a third-party insurance company dictating how many sessions you can have or what we discuss.

Is coaching the same thing as therapy?
Not exactly! While both offer incredible support, they have different focuses. Therapy often looks backward to heal past trauma or treat clinical mental health conditions.
In my work as a coach, we are very much forward-facing. I help individuals and couples identify where they are stuck right now and provide practical tools to build the intimacy and communication they want for the future.
It’s collaborative, direct, and action-oriented.
Preparing for Your First Couples Session
Working together as a couple is a courageous step, and I want to make sure we make the most of every minute we have together. To get us off to the best possible start, I have a specific process for our intake:
Individual Perspectives Matter
Once you book your session, I will send each of you separate intake forms.
Please fill out these forms individually, without consulting one another so that I can gather your unique perspectives.
I’d like to hear your personal "why," your specific frustrations, and your private hopes for the relationship.
This helps me see the full picture of your dynamic before we meet.
A Few Tips for a Great First Session:
Complete forms early: If you can, please submit your forms at least 24 hours before our session. This will give me time to review.
Create a private space: If we’re meeting virtually, please ensure you’re both in a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted.
Come with an open heart: You don’t need to have all the answers—or even a clear plan. Your honesty and willingness to try a different way of connecting will be enough.
What is the investment?
My goal is to provide a high-impact environment where you feel heard and supported.
Couples sessions are billed at my standard hourly rate of $325/hour, and most couples find that a consistent weekly or bi-weekly rhythm works best for creating lasting change.
Individual sessions are also billed at $325/hour.
What if I need to move my appointment?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Because I reserve that specific hour just for you, cancellations made with less notice than that are charged the full session fee.
